This traditional Winter Troyka composition was painted by the famous Palekh artist and teacher Arapov Andrey Vasilievich(born in 1956), who has studied in Palekh Art School(1971-1979). Arapov is a teacher Palekh Art School since 1998. Member of the Union of the Artists since 1995 and participant of exhibitions since 1981.The arist is very well-known among the collectors all over the world!

A simple gold ornament decorates the edges of the lid and as well as the sides of the box are adorned with beautiful gold floral ornamentation.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the top of the painting and the box rests on four legs. It is signed with the name of the artist, the village of Palekh, and a year of 2016.
